STARTCLUB: Your Launchpad for Global Expansion

STARTCLUB is an intensive program designed for startup founders and entrepreneurs focused on validating ideas with an MVP in new markets or generating revenue while achieving product-market fit.

This program is open to Manabu Hubs members, sponsors, and aspiring entrepreneurs ready to take their ventures global.


Program Structure at a Glance

STARTCLUB is divided into two distinct parts, culminating in a powerful Demo Day in Japan:

  • Part 1: 4-Week Online Sessions 💻

  • Part 2: 3-Day International Startup Exchange (Hualien, Taiwan) 🇹🇼

  • Part 3: Demo Day Showcase (Fukuoka, Japan) 🇯🇵


Part 1: The Core Online Sessions

Four essential 45-minute online sessions prepare you for global markets:

  • Japanese Market: Customer Discovery, Culture, & Market Entry Strategy

  • Business Growth: Business Modeling, Product Launch, & Sales Tactics

  • Demo Pitching: Crafting an Impactful Pitch for Investors & Partners

  • Investment Preparation: Understanding Funding, Valuation, & Investor Relations


Part 2: International Startup Exchange Program in Hualien, Taiwan

Dates: August 20-22, 2025 (Wednesday-Friday) Venue: Hualien Cloud Industry Base, No. 3, Fuqian Rd., Hualien City, Hualien County

This 3-day workation is an immersive experience designed for dialogue, resource matching, and international partnership building.

** Cover all meals and accommodation** for the invited Manabu Hubs and participating startups for the duration of the 3-days program in Hualien (breakfast Not Included), flight tickets, local transports, insurance, e-sim, or visa are not included it.

August 20 (Wednesday) – Startup Networking Meetup

  • 18:50 - 18:55: Opening Remarks (Introduction to the Cloud Hub and event objectives)

  • 18:55 - 19:10: Ice-breaking Session (Brief self-introductions)

  • 11:10 - 11:25: International Collaboration MOU Signing Ceremony

  • 11:40 - 11:45: Cloud Hub Guided Tour

  • 11:45 - 13:00: Networking Lunch

August 22 (Friday) – Nomadic Day Trip

09:00 - 17:00: Digital Nomad Spot Tour (Tourism Department support requested (KK to coordinate with the department))

Please Note: Program fees do not cover flights, local transport, accommodation, insurance, or e-Sims services. We recommended book in advance. Ask team if you need support for discounts insurance or e-SIMs services during your visit to Japan or Taiwan, we have partnership available with SafetyWing (Insurance) and e-SIM Saily!

This event is designed to attract and support international startups and entrepreneurs, showcasing innovative solutions to local investors and ecosystem players.
