​Welcome to Scrapyard Hackathon Kigali!

​Scrapyard  is a global hackathon organized by high schoolers. Scrapyard  events will run in 100+ cities worldwide on the weekend of March 15th 2025. Kigali is among those cities. As a result Kigali hacks with the hand of Hack club organized INNOTECH CHALLENGE Scrapyard  event for empowering Rwandan high scholars in boosted technological innovations and inventions. It is the hackathon of 12 hours,  from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Your participation is highly valuable to us

​Who can participate in Scrapyard

​All high-school students and upper-middle-school aged students are welcome to come and participate INNOTECH CHALLENGE Scrapyard where they will acquire motivations and inspirations empowering there innovations in technology!

​There will be no any fee charged either for entry, food and other all materials will be consumed during the hackathon. You can even either be a member of the Hack Club community or be a Hack Club leader or not. You are all welcomed.

​What do I need?

​Your laptop, chargers, toiletries, sleeping bags, and an open mind! If you plan to work on a hardware project, bring the tools you'll need.
