Program Overview:
The inaugural ICE cohort will accept 15 total teams the first 8 months, with the potential for extension to 12 months throughout the 2025 summer. The programming will be kept light, to allow ICE staff to build resources around cohort needs and allow participation, even with a full course load.
The program shall focus on mentor-team relationships to set bi-weekly goals, develop the business, and tackle technical problems. In addition, educational sessions will be provided on a monthly basis. Pitching, startup theory, and technical resources will be provided via existing materials that will be recommended for reading as needed.
The outcome of ICE will be measured on the successful elevation of entrepreneurs to accelerators, fundraising and customer deals. Goals will vary depending on a team’s initial stage of development, but some key outcomes may include a pitch deck, customer discovery, VC relations, or finalized prototypes. All teams will end the 8-month experience with a demonstration day to a small audience.
