LA's Inaugural Youth Climate Summit
Event Description
The Collidescope Foundation is excited to work with the City of Los Angeles and their Youth Development Department to produce LA City’s inaugural Youth Climate Summit. As the creators of LA Climate Week, the Collidescope Foundation aims to bring together hundreds of participants - youth, changemakers, policymakers, industry leaders, and artists - to engage in thought-provoking discussions, creative expression, and hands-on climate solutions.
We are pleased to invite attendees to engage with members of LA’s City Youth Council that will showcase findings on a community-driven legislative proposal to drive sustainability in the lead-up to the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Through interactive sessions intersecting education, policy and government, entertainment & culture, this event will showcase real-world youth-led and intergenerational climate action and innovation and equip young people with decision-making power, leadership skills, and career-building opportunities in the sustainability movement.
