About Sameer:
Sameer Rashid is a veteran of the climate tech world, with two decades of experience spanning startups, venture capital, go-to-market, and storytelling. He is currently scouting for Picus Capital and advising climate startups. Sameer was previously COO at HEVO, where he helped bring wireless EV charging to market, and a Partner at Pure Energy Partners, where he supported dozens of climate ventures and co-founded the Circular Carbon Network.
His journey began with Think 21, an organic waste and renewable energy startup acquired by Harvest Power. Since then, he has worn many hats — from advising on the Carbon XPRIZE to mentoring at the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator — always with a focus on advancing the clean economy.
Sameer brings a unique blend of operational know-how, investment insight, and systems-level thinking — and he’s always down to talk shop, swap ideas, and share what he’s learned.
