About Event

On July 10, join us virtually to see locally made documentary-style short films about the incredible work being done in our region. At this event, we will showcase Storypole, where Coast Salish artist Jason Laclair shares his story; Mi Barrio, featuring Alex Sanchez; Love Me to Life, celebrating voices of color; and Pa’l Corazon, For the Heart, a cross-cultural story about food, life, and community.

Total run time 55 minutes.

We'll be joined by some of the filmmakers and those featured in the films, for a Q&A following the screening.

We created this event to elevate the importance of storytelling as a way to educate leaders and other decision-makers of the innovative work being done in our region, and inspire collaboration and partnerships to become part of health equity work.
