Bottom line:

This work matters, because when we say what we mean, the people around us get the best of us. That's good for everything - our relationships, our work, our ability to enjoy what we've got in our lives.

Knowing why we say 'yes' or 'no' to a request, and saying what we mean - that is, saying 'yes' when we mean it, and 'no' when it matters, resets the situation when we feel stretched.

What happens in this hour:

You will bring one situation from your life, either something you aren't sure whether to say 'yes' or 'no' to, something you're trying to decide what to do about, or a situation that's already happened where you said 'yes' and wish you hadn't.

You will apply very simple concepts and tools to this situation, in real time, so you leave with more clarity, and, frequently, a clear answer.

If you were feeling resistance, resentment, frustration, obligation, or that you were leaving yourself behind, you will likely feel something closer to freedom, surety, groundedness. The exhaustion or drain that comes from conflict emotions will lessen or be gone.

When we genuinely feel good about a decision, our brains can stick with those choices

The tools you'll get:

They're questions to ask yourself. Simple. Easy. Reliable.

There are also core concepts about how we humans and our emotions / desires work, so you can better understand, for example, why you sometimes say ‘yes’ and it makes perfect sense, even if you don’t actually want to do this thing. When you better understand what’s going on, solutions that actually work are easier to find.

I’ll be telling you about some of these.

Want to know more about Leah?

I'm a NY trained actor, triple certified coach, and mother to a digital artist, deeply empathic, neuro-diverse 9th grader. I have mentored early career coaches, and worked with clients on 3 continents and in 5 countries.

The foundation of how I work is:

— to get really clear on what your healthy, kind boundaries are and what that even means (based on the work of Randi Buckley),

— how your thoughts impact everything you end up, and how to track what's going on,

— and the ability to read what your brain is telling you through the emotions and physical sensations you’re feeling in your body.

They all fit together.

I teach my clients how to do this for themselves, so they learn to coach themselves, in the moment, through all the sticky, messy situations in the human experience.

What you've got going that isn't working, we look at that and facilitate change.

What you've envisioned as "wow, what if...". We look at that too, and set you up for it to happen.
