About Event

This encounter allows visitors to meet one of our resident reptiles up close. Learn about the unique adaptations of blue tongue skinks and California kingsnakes, as well as their importance as mid-level predators in their local ecosystems. Though these two animals are native to opposite ends of the globe, both will face similar challenges in a changing climate.
