community dinner & joyful climate action party!

​If you're concerned about *looks around and flails wildly*... everything and you wish you had friends, knowledge, and action-oriented guidance to do something to make our world better, come join us at Soapbox LA!

​Who: You! (Presuming you are someone lives in LA, feels anxious about the climate crisis, wants to make friends, and cares about DOING SOMETHING)

​What: A joyful pop-up community space to connect, learn, and take action on the climate crisis with delicious dinner provided!

​​You will...

• ​​Make friends with fellow Angelinos through conversation prompts, activities, and FOOD!

• ​​Learn about local social/environmental change efforts on the topic of the new economy

• ​​Feel better AND do better by participating in bite-sized action that directly affects you

​​Where: Clique! It's a nail salon x community space in West Hollywood!

​​When: Tuesday, March 4, 6-9pm. (Try to arrive by 6:30 please, since that's when we'll start opening announcements)

​​Why: Everything is less overwhelming with friends who live near you and we need better social spaces for social justice!!

​​Includes: Dinner, connection activities, expert guest speakers, advocacy tips, and the general feeling that you're not alone in this world

​All you need to bring is yourself! We will provide the friends, food, and actions for you.

​​This pop-up space is hosted by Soapbox Project, a nonprofit that creates joyful community structures to heal our climate anxiety and loneliness through expertly facilitated connection, learning, and action activities. Our core values are courage and joy. Find your place in the climate movement with our online and in-person community!
