With multiple films going into production, Zhive is proud to announce our distribution incubator, and bring you all the partners behind the scenes of our finance and distribution outlets.
Come and meet team members, get advice, and celebrate our growing community! and most importantly — this is a BYS event: Bring Your Story!
Zhive is a network and distribution incubator:
Friday October 25th, 5-9 pm: Networking Reception in Culver City
Join us as our colleagues arrive from out of town, will be casual reception in outdoor Mexican restaurant setting. Our producing team will be there, and teams from a variety of films going into production this coming year. Food and drinks available for purchase. Location will be released with your RSVP.
Saturday October 26th: Zhive Network panel, roundtables, lunch + happy hour, Culver City
12:00-6:00 pm: Overview: Panel, roundtables, and happy hour. (lots of parking there for all our in town guests, address will be given with RSVP)
Schedule:
12:00-1:00 pm: guests arrive, lunch and networking! Meet friends and colleagues. We will have lunch catered in, get a plate and introduce yourself to our guests.
1:00-1:15 pm: Opening and Welcome to Zhive, Join us for our mandate for this year, and our distribution incubator launch.
1:15-2:00 pm: Panel discussion: How do you get your story made today? Panelists include partners of Zhive who will speak on casting, distribution, development, financing, sales and audience. This panel is a showcase of current Zhive producing partnerships who can help you with your film, through all stages of script to finished film.
2:00-2:30 break and walk our production gallery, full of insights on our path of execution from development to finance to distribution.
Roundtables format: we will have all our panel members at individual tables, guests will rotate with choice of participating in small roundtable discussions or general networking in our main room. There will be 4, 30 min sessions at each table. Each guest will have the choice to sit in on 4 different tables. (upon registration we will send you a form to submit your preferred roundtables to join)

Evening: if you’d like to keep the conversations going, join us as we walk to a restaurant a 5 min walk from our Culver City studio partner, to have some dinner and continue learning and meeting new friends + partners. Dinner + drinks will be available for guest purchase.
Sunday Oct 27th: 3:00-7:00 pm More time to meet! Come to Santa Monica to a colleagues restaurant where we will be mingling, conferring, creating action plans and have another day to solidify plans + pitches. This is your day to make sure you got to meet everyone on your list, follow up with people to further conversations and collaborations. Panelists will be in attendance, so another chance to get feedback on your work. Great healthy food, side dishes, or early dinner and drinks, all available for individual purchase.
