Stories of Local Leadership: Resilience in the Face of Crisis
Stories of Local Leadership: Resilience in the Face of Crisis
Session Overview
In an era of overlapping global crises and unpredictable funding, locally-led nonprofit and social venture leaders organizations embody resilience. They are adapting to challenges, innovating new solutions, and continuing their work without compromising their mission. At the same time, funders are rethinking their role, exploring more flexible, crisis-proof funding models.
A continuation of the African Visionary Fund and Rippleworks’ Stories of Local Leadership event series, this session serves to highlight the importance of coming together as a community to build long-term resilience during times of uncertainty. Through sharing real-world stories and practical strategies, social impact leaders and funders will engage in transparent discussions about what it takes to not just survive, but thrive—and how both sides can work together to build a more stable future.

Hear from a leader navigating real-world crises.
Break into small discussions with other attendees to explore challenges and solutions.
Hear from another leader, then rotate to new groups to exchange fresh perspectives.
