Thursdays in August | 1–2 PM EST | Online (Zoom)
Join the Youth Summer Institute, a free, four-week virtual program created for Black disabled youth to build leadership, advocacy, and career skills through a disability justice lens. Led by the Youth Affinity Group of the National Black Disability Coalition, this series includes hands-on workshops, expert facilitators, and practical tools for navigating school, work, and community life.
Program Highlights:
✔ Build your personal brand and LinkedIn profile
✔ Learn public speaking and advocacy strategies
✔ Understand your rights and self-advocacy tools
✔ Gain career planning skills and job readiness
Who Can Join:
Open to Youth Affinity Group members and interested Black disabled youth. Must attend all 4 sessions to earn a Certificate of Completion. All access needs will be met.
Dates: August 7, 14, 21, 28
Time: 1–2 PM EST (may shift to 12 PM as needed)
