​Got a creative kiddo aged 10 to 15 who’s keen to explore clay but not ready for a full term? Our Youth Mini-Term: A 4-Part Taster Series is the perfect way to dip their toes into the world of handbuilding pottery!

​This short and sweet series is all about experimenting, playing, and discovering the magic of turning raw clay into something totally unique. It’s relaxed, fun, and designed to give young makers a taste of the pottery process—without the pressure.

​Course Details:

• ​Start Date: Monday, 26th May 2025

• ​Time: 4:30pm – 6:30pm

• ​Duration: 4 weeks

• ​Location: KMC Studios, Te Aro, Wellington

​Note’s: No class on 2nd June (King’s Birthday). Last class Show and tell 23rd June - please invite family and friends and bring a snack to share.

Her relaxed, supportive teaching style makes it easy for kids to feel confident and inspired as they explore the magic of clay. Whether it’s their first time or they’re already hooked, Kaza’s got the perfect mix of fun and skill-building to make each session a winner.

​Terms & Conditions

​​Booking Confirmation

​​By booking a class or workshop with Karla Marie Ceramics, you agree to these terms. All bookings are final and non-refundable, with exceptions as outlined below.

​​Cancellation & Transfer Policy

​​Due to small class sizes and preparation costs, we offer transfers over refunds. You may request a transfer if:

• ​​The request is made at least 48 hours before your class.

• ​​A $25 transfer fee will apply to cover the cost of materials and preparation for your original booking.

• ​​The new class is of equal or lesser value (if higher, the price difference will be charged).

• ​​Only one transfer per booking is allowed.

​​Refunds

​​Refunds are only considered if:

• ​​Refund request must be made at least one week before the class start date.

• ​​​A refund will only be processed if we are able to fill your spot.

• ​​​Refunds will be issued minus:

  • ​​​A 10% booking fee to cover transaction costs.

  • ​​​A $75 administrative fee to cover staff time required to manage the cancellation and rescheduling 

​​Last-Minute Cancellations

• ​​Transfers within 24 hours of class are not eligible.

• ​​No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the booking.

​​Class Rescheduling by Karla Marie Ceramics

​​If we cancel or reschedule, you may transfer to another class or receive a full refund.

​​Make-Up Lessons

​​due to the short term and nature of the youth term. There are no make up sessions available this term.​
