​You are creative and you can make change. Join us as we Gather Round using our collective creativity to take action on global issues. For young people, aged 18-30.

​Let's come together using a series of creative acts like collage, writing and movement, to build community, shift narratives and shape futures.

​What to expect?

​The day will be shaped by the people in the room, but we expect to use our creativity to explore global issues. Themes might include social justice, inclusion, climate, mental health - whatever you want to bring to the creative discussions.

​“How can we use our creativity to make change? Why now?”

​There will be a series of creative ideas we will share in response to this question. For example..."Craft your dream community space. Think about things that might be considered as “luxuries” but are necessities for you and your community to thrive, not just survive.”

​We also invite you to bring an idea or invitation you'd like to share or explore with the group. We'll spend some creative time together and then close the session thinking and planning how to translate ideas into action and how to stay connected.

​This is not a drop in session. If you register we expect you can join for the entirety of the session. These timings above are guidelines that may shift depending on where our creativity and conversations take us, although we will make sure to honour break times. If you need to take a break at any point during the session outside of break times you are welcome to. 

​Light refreshments will be provided on arrival, and throughout the day.

​All creative materials will be provided.

​If you'd like to share a skill or submit creative provocation, you are welcome to bring along any other materials you like. There is a space on the registration form to share more about your ideas.

Whether that's with over 360,000 people getting creative daily throughout January, with leaders tackling climate change and gender inequality, or by inspiring workplaces to courageously support their people. The time to get creative is now. 

​​This event is part of our year round public programme - experiences to connect and resource anyone that wants to make change in their life and the world around them.

​Access

​This event takes place in Exchange, New Wing at Somerset House. There is step free access to the venue.

​When you register for this event there will an opportunity to share with us any access requirements that would support your attendance.

​Exchange is a co-working space, so please be mindful of anyone else working in the space.
