​🚀 As AI revolutionizes the media landscape, it’s crucial that community journalists aren’t left behind. The AI Community Engagement Lab will ensure that local news outlets can leverage AI to better serve their communities and strengthen audience relationships.

​Leverage AI to better serve your community! This six-month hybrid, tuition-free, and hands-on program invites community journalists to explore artificial intelligence through theory and practice, with a focus on enhancing audience engagement. This program will take 15-20 community journalists from the United States, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories.
