FAQ

1) Who is this event for?

This even is an invitation-only space for social workers, activists, and other front-line workers advocating for a world free from gender-based violence and supporting women, girls, and transgender survivors. This event is led by and for women and femmes, including trans women.

2) Do I have to be an active or "sporty" person to join this event?

No! This event is for anyone interested in practicing pilates! Whether you're a current pilates princess or have an interest in exploring pilates as a new form of movement, you are welcome to join us. This class is open to all levels!

3) Is there an age limit?

No, however our community mostly consists of women between 24-40!

4) Where is the location?

This event is hosted at a lovely pilates studio in Toronto's East End. We will only share the location with attendees who register for the event to ensure safety and security.

5) What will my ticket pay for?

The price of admission includes access to the studio, a 45-50 minute pilates class, and snacks! The studio was kind enough to give us a discounted price even though pilates classes usually cost $35+ tax.

6) What should I wear?

First and foremost, you should wear clothing that you feel comfortable in. You are advised to wear stretchy and breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. Avoid clothes with zippers or bulky accessories that could dig into your skin or restrict movement.

7) What should I bring?

Bring a water bottle for hydration. A sweat towel is also recommended.

8) Are there bursaries available?

This event is fully self-funded by the organizers so unfortunately there are no bursaries available. You can pay it forward by donating toward this event by contacting the organizer.

9) What is the refund policy?

Tickets can be refunded up to 7 days prior to the event.
