This hike kicks off our summer Hike Club series, bringing together Calgary’s creators, creative entrepreneurs, and outdoor enthusiasts to conquer iconic trails, capture memorable moments, and connect with one another. Expect a challenging yet rewarding ascent, breathtaking views, and opportunities to capture some inspiring imagery along the way.

What to Expect
Tackle the steep, scenic trail to Ha Ling Peak’s summit for 360-degree views of the Bow Valley, Mount Rundle, and Canmore. Perfect for creators, creative entrepreneurs, adventurers, and anyone looking to push their limits in good company.
Gear & Preparation
Required Gear: Hiking appropriate footwear, water (min. 2L), snacks/lunch, layers (windy at summit, wind-breaker or rain jacket, any camera gear or phone for photos.
Recommended: Hiking poles can be beneficial on the way down, sunscreen, hat, personal first aid kit, bear spray (not common on this trail but never a bad idea)
Note: Check weather and trail conditions leading up to the hike date. A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required for parking. If it's busy - carpooling to the trailhead from the Canmore Nordic Centre can be an option.
