​With Modality, you step into a simulated phone call with an AI-generated persona experiencing a mental health-related challenge.

1. You’re assigned a specific role to play (e.g., a receptionist at a psychiatric clinic) and given a goal for the conversation.
2. You engage in a simulated phone call with an AI-generated character who is experiencing a mental health-related situation.
3. Navigate the scenario in real time, using communication and behavioral health skills to achieve your objective.
4. After the call, Modality gives you personalized feedback on how you handled the situation—what you did well and where you could improve. The feedback is focused on evidence-based skills and practices.
