​ABOUT KNITTING CLUB

​YKWU (You Can Knit With Us) is Colèchi’s very own knitting club that started as a way to encourage people take part in the art of producing fashion through knitting; and to change generic preconceived ideas of who knits.

​YKWU collaborates with knitwear designers, yarn producers and educators and the curious via a learning platform.

​Sessions are held on the last Sunday of each month at The Lab E20 in Stratford, East London.

​ABOUT THIS SESSION

​This month's session is facilitated by Erica Collins, a London-based knitwear and textiles designer who sources deadstock yarns and charity shop finds to create one off pieces that challenge the stereotype of knitwear.

​Erica will show how to create a float knit rib bag using T-shirt yarn.
