Plugging into the Future: Decarbonizing California’s Energy Grid
Net Impact, in partnership with PG&E, invites you to join us for our first-ever event at SF Climate Week to explore an exciting vision for decarbonizing California’s energy system through highlighting how cross-sector efforts are critical to significantly driving down emissions.
Please join us on Thursday, April 24 at 4:30-6:30 pm PT in San Francisco to engage with senior leaders from PG&E and impact practitioners from across the EV, public policy, and energy ecosystem. Audience members will gain an intimate window into both the career journeys of the speakers as well as how PG&E and its partners are not only navigating, but leading the energy sector in driving business value while creating a practical and optimistic vision for the future of California’s energy system. We welcome students and professionals interested in or currently working in the impact space in California - and beyond! Light bites will be served.
Doors open at 4 pm PT and we encourage you to arrive before the event promptly begins at 4:30 pm PT. Space is limited and seats will be given on a first-come first-served basis.
Participants will walk away with:
An inspirational and practical vision for how to decarbonize California’s energy system at the lowest cost
Understanding the myriad ways in which PG&E is reducing its greenhouse gas emissions, preparing the grid to support electrification, and helping all of their stakeholders decarbonize
A clear picture of the range of energy and EV-related career opportunities, what the roles entail on a day-to-day basis, and how they support the decarbonization effort
Connections with the broader Net Impact community in the SF Bay area
