ClimateQueers - Pride Launch
The startup scene is often perceived as a monoculture, it’s a stereotype which is not unduly founded, however, has become less true in recent years as the fairly clear value of team diversity is being given more weight.
ClimateQueers is an initiative focused on shining a light on the diversity within the wider climate tech ecosystem. By giving underrepresented voices visibility we hope to expand the level of diversity working and aspiring to founder/leadership roles within the sector.

To kick off this initiative we are launching ClimateQueers with a Pride Event hosted by Sustainable Ventures on the 27th of June, see here for more information on the event.
Queer individuals and their allies are welcome. There will be drinks, a discussion of the importance of climate action and the role of diverse thinking in developing innovative solutions, and music. See you here.
