About - Dennis Allison

Dennis Allison - the triilion dollar technology ecosystem enabler .

Driven by his passion for technology and drive for soceital impact, Dennis has been amongst the few that have been in the epicenter of almost all technology disruptions over the past 6 decades - creating the ecosystem and space for technology thought leadership, advising and guiding tech founders, connecting founders and VCs, advising pubslishers and authors for publications of seminal books and advising students while founding companies himself.

As a founder of People Computer Company, enabled the ecosystem for personal computing that was availed of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates in the early days, helped the founders (notably Andy Bechtolsheim) that lead to formation Sun Microsystems, connected Google founders to Andy Bechtolsheim and John Doerr that resulted in the funding of google, connected Andy Rubin to Larry and Sergei that resulted in Google’s Android, advised publishers and authors such as Steven Wolfram, Leslie Lamport etc to publish seminal books. While being also a cofounder of many entities including HAL supercomputer he also worked on furthering compiler research and writing TinyBasic, furthering microproceesor research and development and driving research at large - some classified, some commercial, some trade secret.

Dennis has an eclectic academic background - dropped out of high school, dabbled in perceptrons, RF, biology, theater etc, did 2 years at UCLA and Berkeley each, did classified research at SRI, lectured at Stanford for over 4 decades and started the famed EE380 to bring industry and academia closer. He has over 50 publications - many of them still classified.
