Title: “Business School and the Noble Purpose of the Market: Correcting the Systemic Failures of Shareholder Capitalism:
Today’s business schools were built for a world that no longer exists. As capitalism now drives systemic challenges—from climate change to inequality—business education must evolve. In this talk, based on his latest book Business School and the Noble Purpose of the Market, Dr. Andrew Hoffman calls for a bold rethinking of how we teach business, challenging the dominance of shareholder capitalism and its consequences on people, the planet, and society.

As the Holcim (US) Professor at the University of Michigan, he challenges how business schools and capitalism itself must evolve to meet today’s climate and societal challenges.
