About Event

Calling all aspiring biotech leaders! Join DojoGrants and the Federation of American Scientists for "Building Better Bioscience: New Models for Research, Institutions, and Funding" on April 25th, 5:30-6:30 pm ET.

This virtual event is designed for undergraduate students and early-career scientists passionate about biotech, life sciences, and emerging technologies. Attendees will get a chance to hear from leaders of research organizations across bio-related domains, and gain insights into frontier institutional models, career paths, and methods.

Our speakers will be:
<> Seemay Chou — Co-founder and CEO of Arcadia, an innovative biology research organization and start-up incubator with a focus on open science, new research strategies, and novel organisms.
<> Jessica Alfoldi — COO at Speculative Technologies, a nonprofit research organization that scopes and supports ambitious coordinated research programs that don't fit in academia or industry.
<> Dan Goodwin — Co-founder and Executive Director of Homeworld Collective, an organization dedicated to expanding the field of climate biotech by fostering community, building knowledge, and supporting early stage research.
