A dynamic storytelling event created by The Bloom to nourish community, joy, and deep listening. Join us in collaboration with Goalkeepers community to hear stories of fascinating women from around the world leading change in diverse ways from philanthropy, to climate communications. This event is free and open to anyone, we ask only that you come with curiosity, and courage to try new ways of connecting with SDG leaders.

Format of event / Instructions

Speakers will take the stage for ~5 minutes, and each presentation be followed by curated networking inspired by their story. We will weave together story, with connection.

Speakers include:

🌱Dr Radhika Batra
Dr. Radhika is the Founder of Every Infant Matters, an organisation which provides health solutions across the world, including India, Kenya, Nigeria, the Philippines, and the Dominican Republic. Awarded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with the “Goalkeepers Global Goals Awards” – she's saved countless lives of underserved children.

🌱Lamis Serroukh
Lamis is a British-Moroccan fundraising specialist with over a decade of international experience driving positive social change with a focus on youth empowerment and storytelling. In her current role at UNICEF, her focus is on building strategic shared value partnerships with the private sector to deliver transformational impact for children and young people worldwide.

🌱Inez Umuhoza Grace
Ineza is an eco-feminist and impact-driven actor in the climate change/environment sector based in Rwanda. I am also a researcher in the field of climate change with a focus on climate justice and its policy. She believes in the power of sharing community voices and concerts to achieve climate justice. She is the co-founder of the “Loss and Damage Youth Coalition '' a coalition of + 600 youth from +60 countries advocating and taking concrete action to address loss and damage, she serves as its global co-coordinator. She is the founder of “The Green Protector '' a Rwandan NGO aiming to increase active youth participation in protecting the environment through climate action, climate education, and engagement in climate policy; the organization reached more than 3,000 children and youth, implementing 10+ activities and host 10+ youth engaged in climate policy negotiation on the international level. She has been on the Rwanda negotiation team since 2018 following loss and damage. "

🌱Qiyun (胡绮芸) Woo
Qiyun is a Singapore-based sustainability communicator and National Geographic Young Explorer known for her ability to translate sustainability topics into accessible visuals. She is best known for being the creative behind The Weird and Wild (@theweirdandwild on Instagram), an educational platform that explores complex climate issues through storytelling.

🌱Jasmine Anouna
Jasmine is the CEO of The Bloom, the largest learning platform in the world for social impact careers, offered at leading universities from South Africa, to UK. As an Italian-Egyptian-American impact entrepreneur, she’s driven by a passion for deep listening and building bridges across ideas, people, and cultures. For Jasmine’s focus on diversity and intersectionality in social impact directly supporting +45,000 impact professionals, she was officially welcomed in 2022 to the Goalkeepers community of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She's the creator of an upcoming card game Cards for Courage TM, an impact-driven game like UNO for meaningful connections, going live Nov 2024.

🌱Jeroo Billimoria
Jeroo is the founder of several innovative and award-winning NGOs and has over twenty years’ experience running systems change organizations. She is a Skoll awardee, an Ashoka and Schwab Fellow. Among her organizations are Child and Youth Finance International (CYFI) and Aflatoun International. CYFI has created a global network of partners who have collectively created meaningful change in financial inclusion and Economic Citizenship Education for young people in over 160 countries, while Aflatoun International has succeeded in working with global partners to provide social and financial education to over 1 million children in 100 countries.Prior to this, Jeroo founded Childline India and Child Helpline International, which have facilitated a global movement for protection of children and youth and are active in more than 181 countries – having responded to over 160 million calls. Jeroo is now founder of One Family Foundation which incubates social innovations and applies the systems change methodology to help organizations scale.
