「大學沙龍」綫下活動|喜老：清代文人的自述
內容簡介：
清代長壽文人爲數可觀，暮年自述亦相當豐富，且大量地保存於卷帙浩繁的詩文集 裏。其中固然多有訴説得享耆壽者身心欠適之「傷老」、「嘆老」内容，但同時也 有爲數不少的「喜老」文字，展現着作者入老後之感恩和歡愉。是次報告將分析清 代兩性文人的「喜老」書寫，探討作者因高齡、老健、自適、弄孫、遊樂、讌集等 而自喜之種種情緒。這項研究一方面為構建清代老年史作出準備，另方面也為目前 日趨老齡化的社會提供歷史信息與正面思維。
Abstract:
The number of long-lived literati during the Qing Dynasty is notable, and their selfnarratives in later years are rich, preserved extensively in vast collections of poetry and prose. While many works express emotions such as “lamenting old age” or “sorrow over aging,” a significant number also reflect on the joy of aging, showcasing the authors’ gratitude and happiness in their later years. This talk will analyze the writings of male and female literati in the Qing Dynasty that convey their joyful experiences of aging, focusing on the happiness derived from advanced age, good health, self-satisfaction, grandparenting, leisure, and social gatherings. This research project not only contributes to the construction of the history of old age in Qing China but also offers valuable insights and positive perspectives for today’s increasingly aging society.

主持人簡介：
李惠儀，普林斯頓大學比較文學系博士，曾任教於伊利諾大學香檳分校、賓州大學、 普林斯頓大學，現任哈佛大學東亞語言及文明系中國文學教授（1879 Professor of Chinese Literature）。研究及教學興趣涵蓋明清文學及文化、先秦兩漢思想與史學、 性別課題, 以至古典詩詞、小説、戲曲等。著述豐贍並多學術殊榮，如 2014 年獲選 為中央研究院院士。其後，專著《明清文學中的女子與國難》(Women and National Trauma in Late Imperial Chinese Literature) 又榮獲 2016 年美國亞洲學會「列文森書 籍獎」(AAS Joseph Levenson Prize)。另與杜潤德 (Stephen Durrant)、史嘉柏 (David Schaberg) 合譯之《左傳》（The Zuo Tradition/ Zuozhuan Reader: Selections from China’s Oldest Narrative History），復於 2018 年獲美國亞洲學會「韓南譯著獎」 (AAS Patrick D. Hanan Book Prize for Translation)。 此外， 亦先後享有哈佛學會 (Harvard Society of Fellows)、 蔣經國國際學術交流基金會（Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange）、 美國學術團體協會（American Council of Learned Societies） 、 國 家 人 文基 金 會 (National Endowment for the Humanities)、 Radcliffe 高等研究院（Radcliffe Institute of Advanced Study）、 柏林 美國學院（American Academy in Berlin） ， 及古根海姆基金會（Guggenheim Foundation）等頒發之多種學術榮譽。
主講人簡介：
劉詠聰，香港大學哲學博士、香港浸會大學歷史系教授、香港人文學院創院院士。 曾任美國國務院富布萊特訪問學人暨波士頓東北大學歷史系客座教授（2012-13）、 哈佛大學費正清中國研究中心訪問學人（2024），並獲香港研究資助局頒發「人文 學及社會科學傑出學者獎」（2021-22）。主要從事中國性別史、童年史及老年史 研究。編著學術專書及論文集約二十部，另撰有中外學術期刊及專集論文九十餘篇。

評議人簡介：
許曼，北京大學歷史系本科及碩士，美國哥倫比亞大學東亞系博士，現任美國塔夫 茨大學歷史系副教授、哈佛大學費正清中國研究中心性别研究年度工作坊四名召集 人之一，并負責性别與物質文化工作坊。長期致力于中國中古史研究，尤其關注女 性與地方精英的歷史。其研究涉及知識史、藝術史、文學史、考古學、文化史和性 别研究等多個領域，涵蓋年代亦漸次下延至明清時期，特別留心明清類書中女性知 識之建構。 專著 Crossing the Gate: Women’s Everyday Lives in Song Fujian (9601279) 於 2016 年在美出版，中譯本《跨越門閭：宋代福建女性的日常生活》由上 海古籍出版社於 2019 年發行。目前正参與劍橋大學出版社《劍橋儒學史》的編撰 工作。
