A cook and freelance writer in New York City, Anna Watson Carl loves food. After training at La Varenne Ecole de la Cuisine in Burgundy, France, Anna completed a restaurant apprenticeship in Paris at Maceo. She has since worked as a personal chef, cooking instructor, editor at Culture+Travel, and has tested recipes for Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Real Simple, and Martha Stewart Everyday Food. She is the author of The Yellow Table, a blog highlighting her passion for healthy cooking and dinner parties. She wrote her first book in 2015 called The Yellow Table, which is full of Simple recipes through the seasons for gathering well.
