The Commissioner will share her perspective on financial crimes and the innovation of cryptocurrencies, public safety in this new age of digital assets, and valuable insights on mitigating risk when engaging with this new asset class.
6:30pm: Workshops for beginners in cryptocurrency to fortify basic knowledge and reduce risks of getting scammed or defrauded. Through presentations and hands-on activities, attendees will gain a fundamental understanding of what cryptocurrencies are, how they work, and basic practices for mitigating risks of being defrauded and scammed while keeping cryptocurrency assets safe.
