[Toronto] Uplift Collective Wellness Walk Series for Sustainability Professionals
Toronto city life doesn’t always slow down but we can. These walks are a chance to move, breathe, and reconnect - with ourselves, each other, and the pockets of nature woven into the city.
I’ll be hosting one walk each month for the Uplift Collective for Sustainability Professionals this summer - each time in a different spot. Join me this August for the third walk through Etienne Brulé Park (starting from Old Mill Station)!
🌿 August Trail: Etienne Brulé Park & Humber River - starting point from Old Mill Station
Start: Old Mill Station
Route: Humber River Recreational Trail and Humber River Discovery WalkMidpoint/Scenic Stops: Along the trail
End Options:
• Loop back to Old Mill Station
• Or continue on to Cafe Rouge Patisserie together to grab a snack and wind down at King’s Mill Park
📅 When: Sunday, August 24 at 10:00 AM
Try to arrive a few minutes early. We’ll head off at 10:05 am. Look for me in a red cap!
📏 Walk Details:
Duration: Around 1.5 hours (subject to vary depending on the group’s pace and preferences)
Difficulty: Easy
🧢 What to Bring:
Water, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunglasses), and anything else you’d want for a relaxed outdoor walk.
Additional notes:
Walks will happen rain or shine unless there’s a risk of excessive heat, lightning, or flooding.
