Kristina Tubera, Founder of Femme Finance Official. Kristina is an engineer, influencer, and public speaker. Previously she was a software engineer at Goldman Sachs and currently provides GTM and content consultation for startups like Frich, Fishbowl, OKX and various blockchain companies.

Kate Russell, Chief of Staff, Sandhill Markets, Former Venture Associate at The Fund XX. Kate Russell, a recent NYC transplant hailing from Texas originally, spent the last 8 years scaling early-stage startups using her go-to-market and demand generation expertise. After seeing the ins and outs as an operator, she craved making a broader impact on human and environment inequities she saw. So she pivoted to pursue an MBA from UVA Darden and spent the last 2.5 years breaking into VC, working for firms such as Fund XX, True Wealth Ventures, Sands Capital and The UVA Seed, to do just that.

Today her job title is Chief of Staff at Sandhill Markets (which is part robinhood for early stage private markets, part media engine, and part venture-focused agency). But the deeper she dove into the land of finance, business models, and excel spreadsheets…the more her creative edge rose. This led to her to found Serendipty Seekers, an initiative focused on helping us connect by chance––on purpose. Kate actively creates dialogue, workshops, experiences, and art to empowers others to strengthen these muscles. Her goal is to challenge our perceptions on the power and importance of connection that’s possible even in just a few minutes of knowing someone and highlight the joy and richness it brings to life. After all—every friend was once a stranger.

Whether it’s with a pen, a camera, a brush, dancing shoes, or a pitch deck—she’s a tenacious storyteller.

About TALEA

On a mission to disrupt the male-dominated craft beer industry, TALEA founders LeAnn Darland and Tara Hankinson were both avid homebrewers with MBAs who met after leaving their corporate jobs in tech and media to join the beer industry. Together, they created TALEA Beer Co., the only exclusively woman-owned and woman-founded production brewery and taproom in NYC. Founded in 2019, TALEA is a culmination of their love for craft beer and their passion for creating an approachable, inclusive beer company. TALEA aims to create easy-drinking staples that you can comfortably share with your hard-seltzer and wine-drinking friends or open with the most discerning beer connoisseur. The bright and airy cafe by day and taproom by night boasts beer flights, beer cocktails, coffee, pastries, wine, guided tastings and tours, and light bites. TALEA’s flagship brewery and taproom is in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Their second taproom opened in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn in June 2022. Two new taprooms will open in West Village and Bryant Park in Manhattan in Fall 2023. Visit taleabeer.com.
