What We Carry: Crafting Personal Symbols Through Metalwork
This Craft Workshop offers space to reflect on the faith, hope, and quiet resilience that carry us forward, as well as the invisible armor we wear to protect our softness and our dreams. In times of uncertainty and transformation, we often turn to symbols, rituals, and creativity to ground ourselves.
Led by Brooklyn-based Metal Artisan Friday Lynton, this hands-on experience introduces participants to the fundamentals of metal shaping and design. Using these techniques, you’ll create a personal object of meaning—whether a talisman, token, or emblem—that tells your story. No prior experience is needed. All that's required is a willingness to be curious and expressive.
All materials will be provided. Light bites and wine are included to accompany an evening of reflection, creativity, and connection in community.
