About Event

Join us for "Reimagining Teaching in the Age of AI!"

This collaborative 1.5-hour workshop engages K-12 educators in the deeper conversations shaping the future of education: How do we prepare students for an AI-driven world? What does 21st-century learning actually look like?

Using Digital Promise's AI Literacy Framework, participants will explore strategies to modify instruction and assessment design to better foster the critical skills students need to navigate AI systems ethically and responsibly. Through facilitated discussions and authentic classroom scenarios, we'll emphasize what makes human teaching irreplaceable: place-based knowledge, ingenuity, and cultural connections.

To maximize accessibility across O'ahu and neighbor islands, this workshop will be offered multiple times throughout the week at different locations and after-school times, with networking opportunities to connect with fellow educators navigating this transformation. Perfect for teachers, curriculum coordinators, and instructional support staff ready to thoughtfully reimagine AI's role in education.

Refreshments: Light refreshments will be served.
