​We're back from Hacker Summer Camp (DEF CON / Black Hat / BSidesLV) and ready to return to our regularly scheduled local hacker gatherings! If you made the trip to Vegas, we hope you're rested - if you didn’t, now’s your chance to soak in some of that hacker energy right here in San Antonio.

​Clickfix is an emerging social engineering attack vector where fake CAPTCHAs trick users into executing attacker-controlled commands. This talk explores how attackers leverage human behavior instead of software vulnerabilities to complete the exploit chain, effectively turning the user into the payload.

​This talk will cover:
🔹 Real-world examples across Windows, macOS, and Linux
🔹 How payloads are delivered through this technique
🔹 How to detect and defend against Clickfix attempts
