Gib will share how Netflix moved beyond customer focus to delight its customers in hard-to-copy, margin-enhancing ways in this highly interactive talk. You'll learn how Netflix employs consumer science using four sources of consumer insight: qualitative, survey, existing data, and AB tests. Gib will demonstrate how Netflix put these ideas into practice with mini-cases demonstrating how it developed its personalization technology to connect members with movies they love. The results will surprise you.
About Gibson Biddle
Gibson Biddle joined Netflix in 2005 as VP of Product. In 2010, he joined Chegg, the textbook rental and homework help company that went public in 2014. Today, Gib is a guest lecturer at Stanford and INSEAD and gives talks, workshops, and executive events worldwide. He's also an adviser to various consumer tech companies.
