About Event

Event Overview

Join me for a dynamic Zoom session focused on defusing tense family moments and fostering healthier relationships. We’ll explore practical ways to dial down arguments, understand each other’s perspectives, and achieve genuine connection—even when emotions run high. To bring these concepts to life, I’ll be coaching a brave volunteer (thank you, Sarah!) so you can see firsthand how guided conversation can unravel tension and open pathways to resolution.

What to Expect

  • Witness Coaching in Real Time: See firsthand how a life coach helps clients navigate challenges, ask transformative questions, and illuminate new perspectives.

  • Interactive Learning Environment: You’ll have opportunities to share, reflect, and dialogue with others live asking questions of me the coach only, not the volunteer.

  • Coach Q&A: Gain behind-the-scenes insights into why certain questions are asked and how the coaching process unfolds.

Welcome Message & Intention Setting

We’ll open with a brief introduction to set a calm, positive tone. I’ll share our collective intention for this event: creating a respectful, non-judgmental space where all participants feel safe to learn, explore, and possibly see themselves in the coaching process.

Main Discussion & Live Coaching Demo

  • Overview: Explain the coaching framework—why we focus on questions rather than advice, and how curiosity invites deeper understanding.

  • (everyone not on camera during this portion)
Live Coaching with Sarah (15–30 minutes): Observe as Sarah and I engage in a coaching session centered on De-Escalating Conflict in Family Relationships.

    • We’ll explore Sarah’s concerns, body language, language used, desires, aspirations, and potential paths forward.

    • You’ll see how strategic questioning can unveil underlying beliefs, patterns, and possibilities.

  • (everyone that is open to being on camera can turn on video)

    • Group Insight & Response : Review, takeaways or personal reflections triggered by witnessing the session, all pertaining to the coach, not the volunteer.

Q&A with the Coach(after the coaching is complete)

  • Coach Process Unpacked : Here’s where you ask me anything about how and why I guided the conversation as I did. We’ll talk about the rationale behind certain questions, the importance of active listening, and how to handle sensitive topics respectfully.

  • Community Discussion Open forum for additional questions, impressions, or insights that may benefit everyone in attendance. Towards coach only.
