AI, Data Centers, and the Future of Energy
Event Overview
We are witnessing one of the largest expansions in computing infrastructure, with companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Meta spending over $50+ billion per quarter on growth. By 2030, AI is expected to account for up to 3.5% of global electricity demand—equivalent to twice the energy consumption of France.
This keynote will delve into the underlying technology that drives AI and the essential role data centers play in this process. We will examine how these advancements contribute to higher energy consumption and explore some of the innovative solutions being developed to address these energy challenges
