Beyond the Bamboo Ceiling: Destigmatizing Therapy & Reclaiming Your Story Peer-Coaching Program
Hosted by Malu | A peer-coaching session for Asian American women ready to rise... on your own terms.
For many Asian American women, the pressure to succeed, stay silent, and “be strong” runs deep. But what happens when that strength starts to feel like survival?
This data-backed, community-rooted session is a safe space to unpack what we’ve internalized about therapy, about asking for help, and about who we’re allowed to be. We’ll introduce Malu’s Deep Sea Model™, a powerful tool to help you assess your emotional readiness and clarity around whether therapy, coaching, or both can support your next chapter.
The experience includes small breakout sessions based on Malu’s signature curriculum blending therapeutic and coaching approaches like identity exploration, cognitive behavioral tools, and self-worth reclamation practices.
You’ll walk away with:
An invitation to take the Deep Sea Model Questionnaire that helps you figure out your emotional readiness
A guided practice to break through cultural guilt and silence
Real talk about how to choose a therapist or coach who gets you and who honors your identity
At Malu, we say: “You’re not broken. You’re becoming.”
