Discover Art Thinking: Create the Unexpected with Certainty
Unstable markets, the rise of AI, climate disruption… In an era where traditional reference points are rapidly dissolving, one skill is becoming essential: the ability to face the unknown and generate the unexpected.
Art Thinking is a method developed by Professor Sylvain Bureau and artist Pierre Tectin at ESCP Business School (founded in Paris in 1819, the world’s first business school). Inspired by artistic practices, it transforms uncertainty into opportunity. It blends avant-garde art and French theory to challenge the dominant Silicon Valley mind-set
Join us in New York City for an evening of exploration. Sylvain will share the foundations of this bold methodology and how he teaches it through the Improbable Seminar, from the Centre Pompidou in Paris to Stanford University.
You'll also meet:
Emile Kirsch, a visual artist who has co-created with this project for years (and who is also working with a well-known French luxury house),
Arshia Mehta, Stanford alum who recently experienced Art Thinking in Paris.
Whether you’re an academic, entrepreneur, consultant, artist, or just curious, come discover how this improbable pedagogy helps us learn to unlearn, subvert norms, and lead with imagination.
We're organizing a picnic at the Elevated Acre.
We'll provide some drinks and food, and you're welcome to bring your own favorites too. To learn more about this beautiful location:
