Community-Based Research: Launching a Community of Practice
Join us for an online gathering of UCalgary community-based scholars to launch an ongoing Community of Practice.
The Office of the Vice-President (Research) and the Knowledge to Impact team, with support from Dr. Meaghan Edwards, Dr. Turin Chowdhury and Dr. Zack Marshall, are inviting scholars interested in or currently practicing community-engaged research to build better connections. The Community of Practice could facilitate opportunities for knowledge sharing, professional development, mentorship or creating new resources - depending on what we hear from you.
Your expertise and perspective are crucial in shaping the scope of this CoP, ensuring it meets the needs and interests of community-based researchers.
Check back for more details on facilitators and the agenda.
This event is open to UCalgary faculty, early career researchers and support staff working in community-based scholarship.
The Knowledge to Impact team in Research Services supports matchmaking and capacity building for meaningful partnerships for research between the University of Calgary and community. Our goal is to support collaborative efforts to create knowledge with impact for the benefit of the community at large.
