Practitioner Bios

Soula Smith

For the past decade I have devoted my professional efforts to social justice advocacy, human rights grantmaking, and philanthropy work as a means for collective healing and liberation. As I navigated my personal path of healing and growth, I came to understand that my spiritual gifts could also enrich the movement to shift paradigms and reimagine social structures that lift up historically marginalized communities. Now as a healing practitioner and grantmaker, I actively work across worlds to center and support communities and individuals in search of both healing and justice.

In my work as a holistic energy practitioner I support BIPOC people on their sacred journeys of healing, remembrance, and reclamation of spirit with reiki, tarot card readings, and intuitive guidance. As a grantmaker, I work to support the realization of human rights and social and economic justice – aiding in upholding dignity and unlocking human potential.

I am grateful to be of service to the BIPOC community as a bridge to the strength, courage, and wisdom of one’s own body and spirit. It is an absolute honor to have the opportunity to bring my grantmaking expertise and healing knowledge to the philanthropic space so that we may all practice collective care as a means of building our capacity to do social justice work.

In all of my work I show up in my full authenticity and wholeness, devoted to the journey and joy of liberation.

Lindsay Monal

Lindsay Monal is a Sound Meditation Practitioner, 500-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher, and Usui Reiki Master. In her sessions, she weaves sound, mindfulness practices, and energy work into immersive sensory experiences that help participants cultivate a greater sense of curiosity and creativity.

As a first-generation American, Lindsay blends cultural wisdom with a deep understanding of what it means to navigate different worlds. This perspective allows her to craft experiences that feel both grounding and expansive—honoring tradition while inviting a sense of wonder and discovery.

Lindsay infuses joy into every ceremony, believing that laughter and lightness are just as essential to healing as stillness and reflection. Most of all, she is excited to co-create a space where wonder and inspiration can blossom.

Wainani Paikai

Wainani (she/her) is a certified Reiki II practitioner and Oracle Card reader, originally from O’ahu, HI, and currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. She pursued Reiki certification to explore additional methods for managing her chronic pain resulting from a past car accident. Her passion for healing stems from the community support she has received throughout her journey, and she aims to create a safe space for the BIPOC and Queer communities that hold significance for her.

Alongside her work in Reiki and Oracle readings, Wainani's spiritual path is deeply influenced by her Hawaiian ancestors. They guide her in practicing, preserving, and promoting her culture through oli (chant), hula (dance), and ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language). Her aspiration is to continue her education and become proficient in all forms of Hawaiian healing practices.
