Walter Greer Memorial Pickleball Fundraiser
On August 13th, 2023 we lost our little boy Walter in a tragic accident. Our pickleball “tournament” last year, and the overwhelming support we received from each of you, was incredibly meaningful to our family as we marked the anniversary of his passing. As we approach the 2nd anniversary of Walter’s death, we want to honor his memory once again by bringing people together to participate in one of Walter’s favorite activities, pickleball, while also raising money for another wonderful cause. If you attended last year you may remember the tournament was a bit chaotic. This year we will be doing an open play format, where you can play as much or as little as you would like! Please join us on August 23rd, 2025 from 6-10 PM at Peak Pickleball Club for a night of fun, maybe a little competition, but most importantly, a night of fundraising to support an organization that our family loves, The Sharing Place. The Sharing Place has been integral in helping our family in the grieving process, and they continue to support families as they navigate this difficult path. As a way of giving back to them, the entirety of your donations to our event will go to help The Sharing Place continue to give families, especially children, incredible grief support. Event Details: Not into playing pickleball? That’s OK! Please come and join us for a fun filled night! We do ask that you pay a $30 entrance fee to help support The Sharing Place.

Here is what will be provided at the event:
· Tacos! We will have a taco truck on site.
· Refreshments: Including Walter’s favorite drink - Prime!
· Raffle: Come win some great prizes and help us raise more money for the cause! All registered guests will receive one raffle ticket, and you will have the option of buying additional tickets to score that must have item!
· Silent Auction: Certain items will be available to bid on during a silent auction. (If you have an item you'd be interested in donating for the raffle or auction please contact us!)
Ages – 14 to 99+ (We do ask that you leave the littles at home as space is limited in the facility)
