About Event

Too often in the social sector, leaders make decisions without the voices of those most affected - the community receiving services. How can we use data to advance equity in strategic planning and service delivery? How can we empower the individuals we are trying to serve, to center their expertise and lived experiences? And, how can we tap into the experiences of our community to close gaps by race, income, and gender identity?

In this workshop, we will explore how equity-focused feedback systems have helped nonprofits amplify constituent voices while collecting important data for reporting, decision-making, and advocacy/fundraising.

Neha Pandit will share PowerMyLearning's approach to put family voice at the center, utilizing feedback to improve core programming as well as new pilots. Sachi Takahashi-Rial will share Listen4Good's evidence-based framework for making constituent feedback truly actionable. We look forward to hearing your questions, reflections, and learnings as well!

Listen4Good is the signature capacity-building initiative of the Fund for Shared Insight. Listen4Good provides coaching and web-based resources to social sector organizations so that they can build sustainable feedback practices and improve service delivery. PowerMyLearning is a national education nonprofit that advances educational equity and accelerates students’ social-emotional learning (SEL) and academic achievement.
