"The Queens Poem"
Join us to write your own Queens Poem and explore your relationship with this lovely borough.
This event will start with a group reading and discussion of several poems from the Poets of Queens 2 anthology. After exploring the different ways that people connect with Queens, you will be able to write your own Queens Poem (or poems) based on several prompts.
At the end of the event, there will be an opportunity to share your poetry or to share how you felt putting your thoughts about Queens into words.
This event is welcome to people of all levels of experience with poetry & writing. All you need is an interest in writing about the city and yourself!
MASK REMINDER
The Collaboratory is a *Masks Required* space. 😷 We also run two air filters/purifiers during our gatherings. If you don't arrive with a mask, don't worry—we'll have them available at the door.

REFUND POLICY
At this time the QNSC is unable to issue refunds except on a case by case basis. If you are unable to attend an event for which you have purchased a ticket, tickets can be transferred to another person at the buyer's arrangement.
