About Marta Cascales Alimbau:
Marta Cascales Alimbau is a Barcelona-born pianist and composer now based in New York City, known for her poetic blend of classical, minimalist, and contemporary sounds. With over 5 million Spotify streams and a recent debut on Deutsche Grammophon, her works like Cortège and Moonlit have captivated listeners worldwide. Featured on Nils Frahm’s Official Piano Day Album (2023), and selected for Creative Europe’s Slash Program, she has performed at venues such as Piano City Milano, Rockwood Music Hall, and SXSW 2025. Marta’s artistry extends into interdisciplinary work, including her Artsy Listening Room and an upcoming immersive installation with cinematographer Greig Fraser (Dune) for New York Design Week. She is currently working on her next album, where she will introduce her voice for the first time. She was recently accepted as a voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammy Awards).
