salmon club #4
Each month, we gather at a different immigrant-owned restaurant, café, or space to share stories, exchange resources, and support one another.
Whether you're navigating visas or just craving community, join us to meet fellow salmons, enjoy amazing food, and celebrate resilience.
One of the reasons why immigrant-owned food is so damn delicious is that we're constantly in fight or flight mode, and the only moment to find peace is through food. So far, May has been chaotic, and it's time to find peace.
This month, we're tapping into Sri Lankan comfort food made from hardships. Take this as a pat on your shoulder to keep going forward.
The restaurant itself closes at 8:00pm. Once closed we'll migrate to the nearby pubs for drinks!
About Trampoline:
Pranav Chopra was a corporate consultant when he learned about the dark reality of job credibility: without a UK company on your CV, it's hard to open doors, especially for refugees (with very limited work rights). Partnered with The Hotel School and Groundwork, Trampoline provides training and work experience for refugees to kickstart their resumes through small plates of delicious Sri Lankan food.
