Agri-AI 4th Study Group Meeting

​The Agri-AI Business Club is welcoming members and Wur alumni to their next Agri-AI Study Group Meeting on the theme 'AI to help feed the world'. Alumni already working with AI, or considering its implementations, and who are open to discuss and exchange practical experiences, are welcome to join.

Keynote speaker is Feroz Sheikh, Chief Digital Officer at Syngenta. Syngenta is a global leader in AI and AI application within the agribusiness. Dr. Sheikh oversees the company's global digital and AI strategy. In his presentation, Dr. Sheikh will outline Syngenta's vision & strategy and highlight their most impactful AI applications.

Other speakers are: Corné Kempenaar, Coordinator data & precision farming at ‘BO Akkerbouw’ and Lector precision farming at Aerens University of Applied Sciences, who will talk about Precision farming using AI, and Cynthia Zhu, Founder Agri-AI and initiator Agri-AI Business Club, who will provide insight into the current status and future perspective of AI in the NL agri & food sector. Following the presentations there will be a group discussion, leading to conclusions and take-aways moderated by Aalt Dijkhuizen, former president of Wageningen University & Research and Co-Founder of the Agri-AI Business Club. The programme will end with networking drinks.
