Vara Kumar is the co-founder and Head of R&D at Whatfix -a global leader in digital adoption. What started as a small experiment in user onboarding has grown into a category-defining platform used by hundreds of enterprises to boost software adoption and employee productivity.

Before Whatfix, Vara spent nearly a decade as a system architect at Huawei and built SearchEnabler, a SaaS SEO platform for small businesses. From early product-market fit challenges to scaling a global SaaS business, Vara’s journey is a masterclass in deep tech execution and staying user-obsessed.

In this -1 to Now session at South Park Commons, Vara will share the story behind Whatfix’s evolution - the scrappy early days, technical pivots, and mindset shifts that fueled their growth.
