About Event
Pete Wharmby is a former English teacher, who amassed a following of 75 thousand people on Twitter, with his threads about autistic experience, before having to give up on the site. He is the author of two recent books about autism: What I Want to Talk About is a partially autobiographical love letter to autistic 'special interests', while Untypical is about what autism means, and what it would take for society to truly include us.
AMASE Chair Fergus will be talking to Pete about his books, the internet, monotropism and education.
This event is open to everyone and will be recorded.
