Ciudad Morazan - The Bootstrap City Rising

Ciudad Morazan is a residential free private city in a special economic zone in Honduras that provides affordable housing and security for several dozens of Honduran families.

​Equipped with the advantages of legal autonomy as part of the Honduran ZEDE law, Ciudad Morazan is aiming to become a hub for digital nomads and bootstrapped founders.

​Incorporating your LLC and staying for a month in Morazan costs as little as $450, in your own house with services included.

​This is a two-part event - one virtual, one in-person.

​The goal of this event is to educate about one of the most interesting private cities in the world, and offer an opportunity to come visit it together with a group of free spirits.

• ​Vera Kichanova, economist at the Free Cities Foundation

• ​Joyce Brand, the biographer of Spencer Heath MacCallum

• ​Zachary Caceres, author of the "Startup Cities" blog

​In person, we will do various things such as:

• ​Workshop on business regulation

• ​Business pitch competition

• ​Picnic with local residents

• ​Dinner & evening program

​The virtual event is free; the in-person event will cost an affordable bundle fee for transport from and back to San Pedro Sula, 1-night stay, food & drinks.
