​About the Expert:
Moira Birss is an independent consultant and a Research & Policy Fellow with Climate and Community Project with over 20 years of experience in climate, economic justice, and human rights advocacy. She specializes in climate financial regulation, carbon markets, Indigenous rights, and deforestation. Moira holds a BA in Latin American Studies from the University of Michigan and an MA in International Relations from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
